CLAP Support And Other Goodies
We are pleased to announce an update for all Auburn Sounds plug-ins:

1. New Features
1.1. CLAP Format Support
This update brings support for the CLever Audio Plug-in format. CLAP support is already available from REAPER, Studio One and FL Studio, and we're thrilled to join them.
1.2. Auburn OS
All plug-ins now have an internal console named Auburn OS.
- Click on the top-left icon
>_to boot into that menu. - Press ESC, or click elsewhere, to return to the main UI.
- Auburn OS can be entirely navigated with either keyboard or mouse.
Auburn OS offers a few options currently:
Basic preset browser.
Option to restore UI size (if the resize button is not reachable).
Plugin version and tier information.
In the future, Auburn OS will evolve to incorporate advanced interface concepts unobtrusively. Your feedback and ideas are welcome.
1.3 Faster resize and instantiation
Plug-in instantiation and resize are now faster, thanks to stb_image_resize2, enhanced with John Costella's "magic" kernels.
2. Fixes
2.1. Resize bugs
- Fix bad UI size in Cubase, OBS, Digital Performer.
- Fix bad UI size in FLStudio Mac VST2.
- Fix Studio One 7 Mac crash on resize (CoreGraphics).
2.2. Other fixes
- FLP installation can now detect FL 2024.
- Audio Unit v2 latency is now reported correctly in REAPER.
- Fixed one Studio One 7 crash on processing.
3. Removed features
In order to reduce the size of our downloads, we have to abandon older systems from time to time. If you are affected, do not upgrade and keep using older versions.
3.1. macOS minimum version is now 10.15
macOS versions 10.12 to 10.14 are not officially supported anymore. It may still work, but it is not supported.
3.2. No more VST2 on Linux
The VST2 format has been removed from the Linux archive.
3.3. No more 32-bit on Windows
32-bit support has been removed from the Windows installer.

Unless you were using a now incompatible OS or format, your sessions should keep working as intended. And you can safely overwrite the older plug-ins with the new ones. If not, the older downloads can be found at any time using the support area.
